Corporate Governance
We have two important groups of shareholders, JF Citrus and IndoAgri. From the very beginning, we have been committed to good corporate governance practices, guided by principles such as transparency and accountability to our shareholders, employees, partners, suppliers, the community, and society. See our Board of Directors below:
• Board of Directors established with six members, one of whom is independent;
• The Chairperson of the Board of Directors and CEO do not hold other positions simultaneously;
• Internal and external audit (chosen among the "big four");
• Structured Risk Committee.
José Francisco de Fátima Santos – Chairperson
He began his career in 1973, at the age of 18, as a buyer of citrus fruits from farmers in the Bebedouro/SP region to sell to CEASA in Belo Horizonte/MG. The progress of his business during these years made his company, JF Citrus, one of the largest producers of citrus fruits nationwide.
Luiz Gustavo Turchetto Santos – Director
He has a degree in Economics, having started his career in 1998, at JF Citrus, reaching the position of Planning Officer in 2003, where he played a pivotal role in driving the company's asset growth and establishing JF Citrus as one of the nation's leading citrus fruit producers
Hansjorg Suelzle – Independent Director
He has a higher education degree from the University of St. Gallen, in Switzerland, and from the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, with an MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo.
Surjadi Tirtarahardja – Director
He has a higher education degree from the Delft University of Technology, in the Netherlands, with a master's degree in Industrial Design. He has worked for the Salim Group since 1984.
Mark Julian Wakeford – Director
Qualified and registered as an accountant in London, England, having also attended the Senior Executive Course at the London Business School.
Moleonoto Tjang (“Paulus”) – Director
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Tarumanegara, a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of Indonesia and a Master of Science in Business and Administration Policy from the University of Indonesia.
Carlos Eduardo Turchetto Santos – CEO
He has a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP) and an MBA in Agribusiness from the University of São Paulo (USP).
Jeferson Degaspari – CFO and DRI
An accounting technician, Business Administrator, with a specialist degree in Controllership and Finance from Fundace USP, Business Management from FGV and international executive from Ohio University.
Eduardo Scandiuzzi Lopes – Agricultural Officer
An agricultural Engineer, graduated from the Francisco Maeda SP School of Agronomy.
Alisson Venturini Colonhezi – Industrial Officer
Professional with over 18 years’ experience in the bioenergy agroindustry, working in large national and multinational companies.
Marcelo Bosquetti – Commercial Officer
Graduated in business administration from USCS in São Caetano do Sul-SP, he is a specialist in futures and derivatives markets at the São Paulo Commodities Exchange/USP (BM&F).
