How everything started

JF Citrus, a leading citrus grower in Brazil, establishes CMAA, bringing the same operational efficiency and production excellence that characterizes its citrus operations to the sugar and ethanol industry.

2007

The first nursery

We established the company's first sugarcane nursery at the Vale do Tijuco Unit, located in the municipality of Uberaba.

2008

Opening and Commencement of Operations

 

The Vale do Tijuco Unit begins industrial operations. Driven by a commitment to innovation and technology in its operations, the unit achieved remarkable results, processing 1.2 million tons of sugarcane during its inaugural milling process.

2013

Arrival of IndoAgri

IndoFood Agri Resources, a leading Indonesian food producer, joins CMAA as a 50% shareholder, bringing its expertise in agro-industrial practices to the company.

2016

Expansion begins

Our expansion plan takes off with the acquisition of the Vale do Pontal Unit, located in the municipality of Limeira do Oeste, Minas Gerais.

Expansion in Full Swing

The following year after acquiring the Vale do Pontal Unit, we continued our expansion plan with the acquisition of the Canápolis Unit, located in the municipality of Canápolis, Minas Gerais.

Consolidation

This year, the Vale do Pontal unit was incorporated and consolidated as part of CMAA operations

New purposes

The Canápolis Unit was incorporated and began operations. Later that year, we created the Sustainability area, which integrates the Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, Social Responsibility and Communication departments.

First Sustainability Report

Rooted in ESG principles and reaffirming our commitment to social and environmental practices, we are pleased to release our first Sustainability Report, covering the 2020/21 Crop Year.

New Administrative Center

Implementation and inauguration of our new Administrative Center, in Uberlândia. Also, in 2022 we published the first sustainability report based on GRI standards.
